About Me

As a certified fitness professional, I can help you set realistic goals and transform your health and your life for the better. I can help you look and feel your best. And I can help you enjoy yourself along the way. I am a pretty personable guy and usually can connect with others around me even if they are a complete opposite of myself. Hey I might even learn something from you.  To tell a little about myself I am from Upstate NY from a small city known as Rochester. More specifically  I grew up between the city of Rochester, Webster, Irondequoit, and Greece. We don't have much but we are known globally for two things , the good old garbage plate and Kodak, that oh so famous film company whose film is used to make those Hollywood blockbusters. I was always inspired by bodybuilders and professional wrestlers and that is what drew me into fitness, wanting to look like them. Mortal Kombat and Bruce Lee were huge inspirations for me along with other martial arts films, they are  what drew me into martial arts and that's what inspired me to start taking lessons when I was 9 years old. I was an amateur wrestler in my youth along with being a martial artist but what I always loved more than anything was being in the gym. I also love extreme sports such as motocross and BMX racing and skate/snowboarding. I love the X Games. Also in my youth I was inspired by Hip Hop which fueled my love for breakdancing. I also am a heavy rock fan which is mainly what I listen to in my workouts. It fuels me. There was a time where I struggled with my weight a teen as I was overweight in my youth but than I grew a lot and became rail thin. I wanted to transform my physique to look like those I always admired on the big screen and on tv such as Bruce Lee with a touch of Arnold Schwarzenegger and The Rock. I am currently an ISSA Master Trainer, and am also pursuing my master trainer credentials along with NASM and am a graduate of Bryan University out of Los Angeles, California where I received an Associate Degree in Exercise Science and my NASM Personal Training certification. I also had the opportunity to train with many high profile people out west in the fitness industry which was quite an experience. After my time out West in Los Angeles I moved back east right outside of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania where I attended the California University of Pennsylvania. Id spend my time going to classes in Pittsburgh than training, working odd jobs to support myself and visiting relatives in NYC on the weekends. At Cal U I was able to earn my Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science/Sports Management and my Masters of Business Administration/MBA. I am always evolving and always learning and am contemplating on furthering my education in exercise science and possibly looking into Law School/communications or more business concentrations. I am a very diverse individual with many interests but I feel my mixed background can benefit my career as I can reach more types of people. I enjoy the active and healthy lifestyle and would love to pass that on to others and help them reach their fitness goals. In my spare time I like to play sports such as Football, Basketball, and Baseball. I also am a martial arts enthusiast and have been involved in it since my childhood competing in tournaments in Ishyn Ryu and Brazillian Jiu Jitsu and I also compete in professional wrestling like that seen on the WWE and do mixed martial arts like what you would watch on UFC,Bellator or Pride. I am also in preparation for my first bodybuilding/mens physique show in the upcoming year. I also am involved in Crossfit and obstacle course racing such as the Spartan Races,Tough Mudders and Ragnars. I love music mainly heavy rock and hip hop and also have a few music projects of my own so stay tuned for that and I also dabble in some breakdancing. I also am pursuing acting and modeling work so stay tuned as you may see me pop up somwhere in an ad or on tv or a movie. I always love to travel and meet new people. If you are in need of a personal trainer, training tips or diet tips or need good references for places to workout  don't hesitate to ask.
